License
What you are allowed to do with a template you have bought.
Last updated 18 October 2026
Standard license
Applies unless stated otherwiseUse the template for your own presentations and for client work. Edit anything you like. Do not resell or redistribute the template file itself.
You may
- Use it for your own presentations, internal or public
- Use it in paid client work, and deliver the finished deck to the client
- Change any colour, font, layout, image or shape
- Present it commercially, in person, online or recorded
- Keep using it after your purchase, with no expiry
You may not
- Do not resell, sublicense or give away the template file
- Do not include it in a bundle, kit or template marketplace
- Do not claim authorship of the template design itself
- Do not use it to build a competing template product
The distinction that matters is between the template and the presentation you make with it. The presentation is entirely yours: show it, publish it, sell your services on the back of it. The template file is licensed to you, not sold outright, which is why passing the file itself to someone else is the one thing this licence does not allow.
Fonts, icons and any stock imagery referenced by a template remain under their own licences. Where a template names its fonts, they are freely available unless the product page says otherwise.
If a refund is issued for a purchase, the licence for that template ends with it.
Extended license
Everything in the standard licence, plus use across a whole organisation and in products you distribute to your own customers.
You may
- Everything permitted by the standard licence
- Use across an entire organisation, not just one team
- Include the finished presentation in a paid product of your own, such as a course
- Use in unlimited client projects without a per-project purchase
You may not
- Do not resell or redistribute the template file itself
- Do not offer it as a template on another marketplace
It still stops at the same line. The template file is not yours to distribute, in any form, edited or otherwise.
Common questions
Can I use a template for a paying client? Yes, under the standard license, as long as the deck you deliver is a presentation and not the template file itself.
Can I change the colours, fonts and layouts? Yes. That is the point. Everything in the file is editable.
Can I put it on a template marketplace, or share it in a bundle? No. Redistributing or reselling the template file, edited or not, is the one thing the license does not allow.
Do I need a license per person? Buying once covers you and the team working on that presentation. If you need terms for a large organisation, ask us.
